the future’s clear, the future’s asabell
We’re always happy to talk through ways you could make your communications even more clear and effective; it’s part of our job as your agency. But we also have a wealth of knowledge gained from watching and spotting trends; coming up with theories and testing them out; working with many companies across a wide range of sectors; and generally keeping our finger on the pulse. Knowledge that doesn’t come up in daily conversation but may prove of value to you.
We’d like to share our thoughts. We might be thinking along the same lines or it might prompt you to strike out in new directions. Either way, let’s talk this through.

Let’s talk getting face-to-face clarity without face-to-face contact
We’re sure you’ve noted that opportunities for face-to-face presentations are fewer now than they were a couple of years ago. And we’re all aware this is because of the growing use of technology to hold meetings virtually, made popular by the savings it enables; savings in time, money and environmental impact. Throw into the mix the ever-increasing pressure on sales and marketing budgets and the whole operational landscape has shifted.
But is your communication as effective virtually as it is face-to-face? Can you truly get your point across and judge the mood of your audience when you can’t see the whites of their eyes and pick up on all the infinitesimal body language signals? 99% of sales presenters surveyed believed their personality is integral to the success of a sales pitch and 70% believed they needed new skills to present as effectively in a virtual world as they did in a face-to-face situation.
Those planning sales and marketing strategies today face three main challenges:
-
Choosing the right contact medium, spending budget on face-to-face contact where it’s likely to achieve the most
-
Exploiting other forms of contact to their utmost, trading on the convenience of as-and-when to reach an audience who wouldn’t otherwise make time to attend a traditional face-to-face event
-
Ensuring their people know how to get the most out of all forms of contact, giving them the confidence and skills to get their point and personality across as well virtually as they do face-to-face
We’d like to share more of our learning and best practice in this area with you via a webinar.
