Engaging your workforce on matters such as pricing can be a challenge, especially when you’re changing a system, requiring a big investment of time and money. British Gas Business needed their workforce to embrace this change, that’s why we helped them launch their new pricing strategy in an exciting way, even making their home workers feel part of the action.

British Gas Business wanted to ensure that
their workforce embraced their better, faster pricing tool, understand the reasons for it and appreciate the benefits and opportunities it will bring them and the business, including a more accurate pricing system that leads to better customer service.

So we wanted to create a sense of expectancy and involvement when we designed and issued email invitations to workshops, because during the workshops employees got a chance to be creative and take part in a competition to come up with a name for the new pricing engine. In the meantime, we created branding that could fit any name that they could throw at us.

Once the winner of the competition was announced and the name decided, it was time for the launch. T-shirts and pin badges helped everybody celebrate the iPrice launch. Branded chocolates and a letter from the Senior Manager made their way to home workers to help them feel part of the team.

Following our green ethos and keeping costs down, we printed training manuals for iPrice in-house, using double-sided, Duplex paper on our own environmentally-friendly printer.
