It was this year’s summer blockbuster as we combined with British Gas Business to produce and direct an action pack premiere showing at four screens across the country.

BGB wanted to take 2,300 of their people, from sites in Staines, Cardiff, Oxford and Leicester, out of their normal work environment and engender an inspirational sense of pride and ownership in being part of BGB and its future. What better place to premiere the future of British Gas than on a state-of-the-art big screen at a VUE cinema?

We created the invitations, designed the running order, managed the venues, provided the coach transport from the office to the cinema, reserved the luxury seats and even branded the popcorn.

Once inside the screen we created a glitzy Keynote presentation and like any cinema experience even included British Gas adverts past to present. Our Audio Visual specialists added drama with film music and lighting and even follow spots on the presenters. Add in resident compère Darren Green and we were walking away with awards for best screenplay, visual effects, sound mixing and directing.

In addition to the main show we managed an exhibition area outside the screen where other parts of British Gas could showcase the work they do.
